Sharon Price
Sharon Price Anderson was born in California and lived in Washington, Alabama, New York, Colorado and Germany before attending Brigham Young University where she met her husband, Peter. They lived on the Omaha Indian Reservation in Nebraska and then in Moorpark, California. Sharon graduated Magna Cum Laude from BYU in 1970. After living in the California Mojave Desert from 1969 to 1995, they returned to Utah Valley. Here, as Time Lines Etc., Sharon began writing and illustrating history curriculum materials for home-schooled children and other students of all ages.
Sharon’s poems have received numerous state and national awards and have appeared in the Ensign, The Friend, The New Era, BYU Studies, Poetry Panorama, and in Utah Sings. She has published two books: Praising the Prophet—Joseph Smith and the Restoration in History and Verse and The Glory of the Son.
Sharon is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoys gardening and family history. She and Peter have been politically involved on local and state levels. In 2017, she helped organize Stand Strong for the Constitution: A Utah Coalition. They are the parents of nine children and so far have 36 grandchildren and 19 great grands.
